About Me

About Me
Hi there! I'm a technology enthusiast who spends his days as a Solution Architect at Mastercard, working on financial crime solutions. While that might sound intense (and sometimes it is!), I find solving complex puzzles incredibly satisfying.
When I'm not sketching out system architectures or mentoring engineering teams, you'll likely find me exploring new hiking trails, experimenting with recipes in my kitchen (with varying degrees of success), or completely lost in fantasy worlds. I'm a huge fan of Middle-earth and have probably watched the Lord of the Rings trilogy more times than I care to admit.
I've also recently taken up skiing – I'm still very much a beginner who spends plenty of time getting acquainted with the snow personally. Despite numerous falls, I've somehow lost my fear of breaking bones, which my friends find either brave or concerning depending on who you ask!
I've been in the tech world for over 20 years now, building all sorts of distributed systems and cloud solutions. What I love most about my role is being the translator between the business folks and the engineering teams—taking big ideas and turning them into practical technical plans that actually work.
In my downtime, I stay current with technology blogs and podcasts, always curious about what's next. I believe great technology should serve people, not the other way around, and I try to bring that philosophy to everything I build.
